ASEM Forum for Lifelong Learning 2016: 21st Century Skills

From 3rd to 5th October 2016 the representatives of the SIP FEPA UL – senior researchers Irina Maslo and Svetlana Surikova as well as researcher Ilona Gehtmane-Hofmane – participated in the ASEM Forum for Lifelong Learning 2016: 21st Century Skills and ASEM LLL Hub research networks’ meetings in Copenhagen, Denmark.

More than 120 participants (researchers, policymakers and practitioners) from over 30 different countries  discussed the 21st century skills, key concepts for policies and practices in Asia and Europe and what role researchers and policy makers should play in creating lifelong learning opportunities for all in Asia and Europe. 10 representatives (e.g., professors, associate professors, senior researchers, researchers and doctoral students) from different Latvia's higher education institutions participated in this forum.
