Seminar of the research programme "Educational Treatment of Diversity"

The aim of the seminar was to share experiences gained in recent studies, to analyze future challenges and perspectives of cooperation with foreign universities, the Latvian educational institutions and enterprises, as well as with the local community to facilitate the development of pedagogy. In the „Educational Treatment of Diversity” research group actively participate leading researchers: I.Maslo, I.Žogla, S.Tūbele, L.Daniela, D.Nīmante, I.Margeviča-Grinberga and M.Fernandez. Previously named researchers as a whole in 2015 have participated with reports in more than 18 major international congresses and conferences in Spain, England, Turkey, Romania, Greece, Estonia, Austria, Lithuania, Italy, Bulgaria, Tashkent, etc. Most of the reports were presented in the plenary sessions.

„Educational Treatment of Diversity” group researchers have published more than 15 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and monographs; participate in international projects and are intensively cooperating with the Latvian media, in pedagogy research results promotion.

The seminar was organized by the head of the Education Research Institute Manuel Fernandez.
